Akash Tyagi, Partner, joined the firm in 2015. He began his career by drafting and vetting commercial agreements, contracts, legal notices and litigation related documentation. He has gained experience on Real Estate laws, Trademark, Information Technology and Hospitality sectors, and has built an in-depth knowledge across these practice areas.

Akash has led due diligence for start-up ventures in India across real estate and hospitality sectors, information technology and intellectual property rights while helping companies establish their businesses in India. He has also assisted a major hospitality company during the IPO filing and listing their business with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) in 2023.

At present he is managing a portfolio of approximately 40 hotels on behalf of listed and private limited companies. He advises these clients on the day-to-day legal and regulatory compliance associated with the licences required to operate their hotels.

Akash is currently enrolled in the Executive Programme of Company Secretary at The Institute of Company Secretaries of India. He has completed his L.L.B (2015) from Uttarakhand Technical University. Besides this Akash has also completed a PG Diploma in Corporate Laws and Management (2017) from The Indian Law Institute, and a Distance Learning Course on Intellectual Property (2018) from World Intellectual Property Organization.
