Nikunj Arora is an Advocate with over 3.5 years of professional experience in corporate advisory, contract management, regulatory compliance, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and private equity and venture capital transactions. He holds a B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) degree from Amity University, Noida, is pursuing a Master of Business Laws (MBL) from the National Law School of India University, Bengaluru, and has completed a Diploma in M&A, Institutional Finance and Investment Laws (PE & VC Transactions).

At Lex Terrae, Nikunj’s work primarily involves drafting and vetting commercial agreements, contracts, legal notices, Memoranda of Understanding and comprehensive legal fact sheets. He also undertakes legal research on cross-border laws and regulatory requirements applicable to foreign companies operating in India and engages with State and Central Government authorities and other stakeholders on legal and regulatory matters.

Nikunj independently manages regulatory compliance for a portfolio of over six hotels across India, including properties associated with Marriott, IHG and Hyatt. His responsibilities include preparing compliance trackers, review summaries and Excel-based reports to monitor regulatory obligations, identify risks and track corrective actions. He also handles licence applications and statutory compliances involving fire and safety authorities, State Pollution Control Boards, Municipal Corporations, Electrical Inspectorates and Excise Departments across Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Jaipur, Ahmedabad and Chennai.

Previously, Nikunj worked as an Associate (Legal) at YLCC Educations Private Limited, where he drafted and reviewed a range of commercial, technology, construction and service agreements and conducted due diligence on corporate, employment and business-related documents.

His professional interests include corporate compliance, transactional documentation, M&A, investment laws and legal research. He has authored over 30 articles on corporate law, taxation, M&A, SPACs, NFTs and private equity. He was also awarded the 100% Merit-Based Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan Scholarship for academic excellence at Amity University
